Reiki

Reiki (Rei – Spiritual Wisdom, Ki – Universal Life Energy) is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes self-healing in the body. The practitioner gently lays their hands on, or above, the receiver in a specific pattern to help Ki move more freely throughout the organs, tissues and meridians of the body (meridians are pathways within the physical body that contain energy centres, which most refer to as “pressure points”).

Animal Reiki

An Animal Reiki session is a gentle and non-invasive holistic approach that roots itself in the principles of energy healing. Using the Let Animals Lead method, it seeks to promote well-being and balance in animals by channeling universal life force energy and creating a space of love and light, where healing is enhanced.

*It is important to note that this is a no touch method; touch will only happen if initiated by the animal.

At times, when an animal is unwell, the need for healing extends beyond the creature to the owner/other family members, who may be dealing with stress, fear, worry, or grief. Opting for joint sessions involving both the animal and the owner(s) is often beneficial, and various methods for facilitating these sessions will be explored and discussed upon my arrival.

It’s essential to note that Animal Reiki is complementary to veterinary care and is not a substitute for professional medical treatment. Its purpose is to support the animal’s overall health, emotional balance, and quality of life.
